Platform Operations Engineer
We’re looking for an engineer who wants to own the operational backbone of a real AI platform used in production client environments.
We are looking for new professionals to join Pareto's journey
Pareto is a growing software company built around experienced professionals and a sharp focus on what delivers results.
We currently have over 50 senior software professionals on our team, and we’re hiring more this year. We’re looking for an engineer who wants to own the operational backbone of a real AI platform used in production client environments.
The role
We build and maintain an in-house agentic AI platform based on MCP and agent patterns. We use it in client projects and deliver it as a supported solution.
This role owns the operational side of that platform: making it reliable, deployable, and maintainable across multiple client environments running on Azure. The focus is not on building new features. It’s on making sure everything runs, scales, and can be deployed repeatedly without friction.
The role sits between development and infrastructure. You’ll work closely with developers and data engineers, but your priority is keeping the platform stable and easy to operate.
What you'll do
Improve and maintain the infrastructure behind our AI/agent platform. Make the platform easy to deploy and bootstrap into new client environments.
Build and maintain deployment pipelines and environment configurations. Support project teams in setting up the platform for new clients.
Act as the first responder for platform issues: debugging, fixing, stabilizing. Improve observability through logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
Help standardize patterns for configuration, secrets management, and environment setup.
What we expect
A strong DevOps mindset. You care about reliability, repeatability, and operability.
Hands-on experience with Azure is essential: compute, networking, identity, container services, and deployment tooling. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with container-based workloads, including Docker and container orchestration concepts. Experience with monitoring and debugging distributed systems.
Ability to troubleshoot across layers: application, infrastructure, networking.
Experience with MLOps, AI systems in production, LLM-based applications, or agent frameworks is valued. So is infrastructure-as-code experience, multi-environment management, and understanding of authentication and secure configurations.
What we offer
Salary based on your experience: 4000–6000 EUR/month.
Comprehensive benefits: extensive occupational healthcare, leisure-time accident and travel insurance, lunch benefit, recreation benefit, phone and internet allowances, and work tools of your choice.
A team of experienced professionals who care about the quality of what they build. You'll work alongside senior engineers solving real problems with some of Finland's most demanding organizations.
We're an informal, close-knit community where people back each other up. We organize activities and events based on what the team wants to do.
A large part of your waking hours is spent at work, and we believe you should be able to be yourself and enjoy what you do. Flat hierarchy, low bureaucracy, focus on what matters.
